A word from our founder
Avella was created for people who need more than a quick fix about their hair or scalp concerns.
After almost a decade and counting as a licensed cosmetologist, then expanding into trichology, I saw how often hair and scalp concerns left people feeling dismissed, confused, or unsure what truly works. I wanted to create a space where education comes first, concerns are taken seriously, and care feels thoughtful, supportive, and clear.
Avella is that space, built as a safe space to help patients better understand their hair and scalp.

Madisen Almich HLP, AT
Madisen is the founder of Avella Trichology Clinic and an AMCA certified Trichologist & Hair Loss Practitioner with a decade and counting in cosmetology, scalp health, and client-centered care.
After years behind the chair as a licensed cosmetologist, Madisen saw firsthand how often hair and scalp concerns left people feeling overwhelmed, dismissed, or unsure what truly works. Her work in trichology grew from a desire to provide a more scientific approach to support and personalized care for those navigating hair loss, scalp concerns, shedding, thinning, and breakage.
Through Avella, Madisen is able to offer virtual trichology care focused on whole-person support, education, and personalized treatment planning within the scope of trichology.
Her goal is to help patients feel heard, informed, and supported as they take the next step in
understanding their hair and scalp.
